Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she was a performer at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia granted her a degree cum laude in Theatre and Communication. Her career began in Los Angeles as a theater artist. She choreographed and performed in around 20 plays and musicals. The most notable of these were The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. Additionally, she performed 7 title roles at LA's Storybook Theatre. In addition to continuing her studies in improvisation in The Groundlings and becoming a part of the company at Theatre West Kelly also started finding roles on TV and in film. Her distinct voice and diminutive stature has allowed her to perform a range of characters. The actress is well known for her role with Naomi Watts taking over the part of the villainous Samara on The Ring 2 but is popularly known for her role as the bright and bubbly receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly was an attorney and a the party animal on TV The Land's The Exes as a series regular from 2011-2015. Additionally, she was a Regular for the sitcom ABC Romantically Challenged where she played the sassy sexpert younger cousin to Alyssa Miano. The show also featured her as the suburban mother stressed in CW No Tomorrow. Her soprano voice has been lent by her singing voice to a number of animated shows including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. The most recent time she was seen on NBC's cult comedy Superstore as the sluggish, yet lovable Cloud 9 worker. Her private life is one which is quiet having two kids who are younger than 5 years old. She enjoys sewing as well as write, and she is an active participant for various school functions.
