Chando is a resident of New York City. Chando was a student at Manhattan College and became an actor in the past. Chando performed the role of Maddie Coleman, the lead character in As the World changes from 2005 to 2007, and then returned to this role for a period of time beginning late 2009. Alexandra was first seen on the screen in 2002, with House Blend as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns on CBS was her first TV role following three years. In 2009, Chando appeared in American documentary TV series True life and further appeared in the TV series, Sherri. Additionally, she starred in two episodes of Glory Daze in the role of Annabelle. Also, she was on Castle, Hindsight and Dead People.
